| Policies—Compliance Requirements |
- Must be filed within 10 days after the Policy Effective Date. Alaska Statute 23.30.085 and Regulation 8 AAC 45.085.
- IAIABC Form POC1 (as a Binder) may be submitted if the policy will not be issued within 10 days after the Policy Effective Date. (This does not eliminate the need to submit the policy.)

| Cancellation—Compliance Requirements |
Must be filed 20 or more days prior to the Cancellation Effective Date. Alaska Statute 23.30.030(5). AK is a continuous coverage state. Nonrenewal cancellations are required. |
| Reinstatements— Compliance Requirements |
Due within 10 days after the Reinstatement Effective Date. Alaska Statute 23.30.085 and Regulation 8 AAC 45.085. |

Accepts employers linked to an Address Type 6 – No Physical location, but only for Establishing Transactions and Add Employer Transactions. |
| Fines—Compliance Requirements |
Failure to file Proof of Coverage creates the rebuttable presumption that: - An employer is uninsured, and may be subject the a stop work order (AS 23.30.080)
- The employer is subject to a penalty of an additional 20% of the benefit amounts due a claimant at the time a report of injury is filed (AS 23.30.070)
- The employer is subject to a fine of $10,000 and imprisonment for not more than one year (AS 23.30.075)

| Appeals—Compliance Requirements |
All compliance actions are dealt with by the Alaska Workers' Compensation Board. An appeal must be instituted in Superior Court within 30 days of the Board's decision. |
