Policies—Compliance Requirements

Statute does not mandate timeframe. State recommends submitting within 30 days after the Policy Effective Date.

Cancellation—Compliance Requirements

 Within the first 60 days of the policy period: 

• All cancellations (including Nonpayment cancellations) are due 10 days prior to the Cancellation Effective Date.

After the first 60 days of the policy period:

• Cancellations or non-renewal require a 75 day notice
  
  
• Premium increases of more than 15%, a reduction of limits or restriction in coverage require a 45 day notice.

Georgia is not a continuous coverage state; Nonrenewal Cancellations are not required.

Reinstatements—Compliance Requirements

Due within 30 days after the Reinstatement Effective Date.
