| Cancellation—Compliance Requirements |
- Due 10 days prior to the Cancellation Effective Date for Nonpayment Cancellations.
- All other Cancellations are due 30 days prior to the Cancellation Effective Date.
- Kansas is not a continuous coverage state; however, Nonrenewal Cancellations are required 60 days prior to cancellation date

Statute allows a civil penalty of up to $250 to be assessed for each violation of missing coverage and for failure of the employer to file any report required by the Kansas Statutes Annotated (44-557). |
| Appeals—Compliance Requirements |
Appeals must be filed within 30 days from the date of the "final order." The final order is the decision issued after a hearing is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Kansas Administrative Procedures Act. After you have complied with the timeframes and other rules for submitting policy information and filing appeals, if NCCI can assist you with your appeal, please contact NCCI’s Customer Service Center. |
