Great news—NCCI now offers an online edition of the Virginia Scopes of Basic Manual Classifications. Previously available in hard copy only, this manual has been added to the Manuals Library. Current subscribers to the online Virginia Basic Manual will automatically have access to this information.
The manual provides comprehensive descriptions of class codes, cross references, and Virginia state special classifications. Other highlights include:

- An Alphabetical Index listing individual business descriptions known as classification phraseology
- An Industrial Reference Index that contains an alphabetical listing of industries
- A Numerical Index of all codes contained in the manual
